The Paleo diet does not allow plain potatoes and I have been craving them like crazy! The solution… Sweet Potato French Fries
What you’ll need:
Sweet Potatoes, knife, salt, pepper, coconut oil (or any oil of your choice) & any other spices you want
1. Clean and peel your sweet potatoes
2. Cut them up
Season them and put them in the oven at 375 degrees for about 30 minutes. I flipped mine half way through, and then broiled them the last few minutes in an attempt to make them crunchier. (It ended up burning them, because I had never used our broiler before, and I have no clue how to use it…oops) Next time, I would broil on low for longer to get a crunchier fry.
They were the perfect side for my turkey burger, and satisfied my craving!
